Changelog - September 2018

Baker Shogry & Jesse Dhillon

Updated on October 11, 2018

Here are a few highlights from what we've been working on over the last month:

  • Institutions: We added Identity support to roughly 600 more institutions while making improvements to our support for joint accounts, and now support Identity for more than 2,100 institutions in total. Discover Bank got a facelift, adding support for Auth and Identity along with longer transaction histories and more frequent updates, and we added support altogether for the Walmart Mastercard and Lowe’s Visa Rewards Card. Finally, we reduced latency and improved reliability at over 100 institutions, including Capitol Federal Savings Bank, Community National Bank & Trust of Texas, and Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union.

  • Link: We added 6,300 new bank logos and colors to Link web and iOS, thereby helping users better find their institution when connecting accounts. It’s now easier than ever to figure out which of the dozens of institutions each named “First National Bank...” is yours.

  • Link: We released LinkKit 1.1.12, which adds support for security code auto-fill on iOS 12 as well as other bug fixes and improvements.

  • Assets: We added the /asset_report/refresh endpoint so you can create a new Asset Report with the latest account balances and transactions for a borrower, based on the old report.

  • Dashboard: We released a revamped Usage view in the Dashboard where you can now visualize item adds and removes over time, and breakdown usage by product.

  • Quickstart: We released a new version of our Quickstart app with added support for more Plaid products, and improved the printing output of JSON API responses in the Terminal.
